Same thing for 80s music...I have a mix CD in the car that I made and every song on it is a "groaner" in one way or another, but it's one of my favorite CDs.

5. It took me years before I could listen to anything from "Frampton Comes Alive" again
Same for "Rumours" by Fleetwood Mac and a few others. Also Journey...God, did I hate the Steve Perry edition of that band when they were hot. Now I have a Journey mix CD in the car too because it just takes me back.

They were the soundtrack of an era and over time the bad shit that happened takes a back seat to whatever "fond memories" can be mustered. I guess that if I were having fun right now I wouldn't be looking back but that's just the way it is, ya know?
