My email is not working. I can't get to the sign in page. Anyone else having trouble with hotmail?

1. Try using the https secure server. Might make a difference.

I don't know why, but it might. I've been having problems with hotmail off and on for the past few weeks but it seems to have settled down for me now. Are you getting those 'server maintenance' messages?

Nothing. It is frozen.

6. Had problems with hotmail in the middle of Nov...

a number of accounts were attacked by spammers who took over a number of accounts and used the directories to send out help wanted messages(stolen ID)to every name in the accounts. Extortionists were operating and made money demands of the people contacted.

FB also got hit.

May be why they are working on the servers.

8. I managed to sign in using Live which I had never used before. Perhaps they

just stopped allowing people to sign in the old way or something.

9. Yes. I was a little worried earlier tonight that something malware was up but

have since managed to find an alternate route into my email. So all is well. I think!
