Finallly blew up Ad-Aware |
|
In the last week, it downloaded updates three times. Each update was larger than the entire program was, say, two years ago. Now Ad-Aware says a new version is ready. I just said, not this time buddy. I don't really think it's bloatware; I'm sure it's still fine for the 90%+ of people on broadband. But I'm not one of those people. Miss the old days when the anti-malware was JUST anti-malware, antivirus was just antivirus and firewall was just firewall. All of them trying to do everything just creates software conflicts, and no one of them is likely to be good at everything. Ptttttt.:)

1. I got rid of that one, too. |

It bogged down/jammed up my computer big-time. Had it on there to get rid of some malware. Once that was gone, and I figured out that Ad Aware was my computer to slow, off it went.
