I was wondering if you can do me a favor.

Basically, you'll be doing you part in solving a big mystery.

I was wondering in you can tell me what the German lyrics are in this song, even better yet if you know what the song actually is... I'm pretty sure that it's not Manfred Krug's song, "Morgen"

No one knows what song is being sampled here.

It think it's "Nur nicht heute oder morgen" , Only not today or the tomorrow.. I may be wrong

3. Guten Morgen MrScorpio
Could it be this song?

There is the text as well. The words Madvillian are sounding like the beginning of that song.

4. I'm wondering if there's an earlier version of this song
Like from the sixties or seventies. I came across that vid too, but the Madvillain beat sample sounds like it's from the early German funk era.

5. I will search this evening some more
when I have a more time (am at work after all at the moment).

Even though for me it sounded like Madvillain sang the lines themselves

6. Actually Madvillian refers to both the DJ and the MC
MF Doom and Madlib.

Madlib dug into some secret stash to pull that sample out and looped it.

Apparently, this song is so obscure that even other Germans have had a hard time figuring out where it's from.

Those lyrics were a sure fire clue, however.

Let's say that if you can find the original German track, hip-hop fans worldwide will be very grateful for your efforts.

Say, do you have any old record stores around where you live?

7. I am sure there are old record stores around
but I have to admit I can't think of one right now.
