But instead her handlers are saying (lying like dogs) it was Salvia (which if you have ever done, you would know is bullshit) evading the illegal aspect of marijuana.

Salvia lays YOU OUT. It is very heavy and doesn't lead to laughter. It is a very introspective drug and in my experience does not make people act like this. If this were a room full of salvia users there would be some kind of crisis going on, people would be crying etc... Really it is that heavy.(and why one trip was enough for me).

They are saying Salvia so that it makes poor Miley seem like a better girl by using something currently legal (of course now with this publicity that will change I am sure) instead of the killer illegal weed.

8. Worst publicist gaff I've seen in awhile

Salvia is a very emotional and introspective trip, I have never personally tried it (the stories and experiences from friends FREAK ME OUT) but have friends who have and they insist it absolutely ruined their week, month, year. One of my brother's friends did it twice, and has not been the same since. It's like he crawled down the rabbit hole and never came back. I'm 23... I come from a large group of friends who smoke weed every day, and have probably since age 15/16. This was CLEARLY standard 18 year old girl who hasn't smoked that much weed and still gets giggly and stupid. Nothing more.

Having worked in music and entertainment, I can also tell you that her publicity team hoped that by telling the public it was salvia, she would appear to be acting within "legal" boundaries. However, I think that most people find it more disturbing she'd be smoking salvia, most would agree that an 18 year old girl isn't emotionally mature enough to be doing a drug that unleashes that kind of raw, uncontrollable, often painful emotion.
