Incessant pounding rain, fog causing 300 M top visibility. Haven't seen the sun in weeks. God help us.I did not know there was that much water in the sky. If we are washed away send word to my daughter. On the bright side I am reading Lovecraft and have food in the fridge.

My mom lives right at the mouth of the Gorge in Troutdale in a fifth wheel trailer. The wind there is brutal sometimes, but it's so pretty and green -- when you can see, that is.

Whereabouts are you? Out by The Dalles or closer to Portland?

I'm about six miles outside of Estacada, kind of out in the middle of nowhere. It's breathtaking here.
