1. This CD is a textbook example.
A band that tries to step outside of it's established parameters and being (mostly) met with hostility from the band's fans.

This was a decent CD, but the band only had so much potential to start with, and they milked that for their first two CDs.

Still, they were a real fun band live (opening for Mudhoney, who was even more fun), and they had some very cool riffs on this CD.

Now, listen to some Jesus Lizard, the band in the 90's that almost everyone wishes they were... :)

2. I remember Helmet largely for their appearance in the Jerky Boys movie...
...performing Black Sabbath's "Symptom Of The Universe" (with a cameo appearance by Ozzy as their manager). Ozzy also delivers the best line of the movie, when told that the band's roadies left for a better paying gig on he Monkees' tour..."The fucking MONKEES?"
