Driver with flashers on?????

This afternoon I was driving to the next town for shopping.

This is 20 miles on a two lane black top that has occasional passing lanes on hills.
It also goes through two towns where the speed limit drops. I go at the speed limit or below it.

We have little towns and small police departments, so usually the guys handing out tickets are state troopers.

There is a woman behind me in a medium sized SUV tailgating me for a long time. Eventually she whips around me, flips me the bird, and passes the person in front of me.

Then I catch up to see what she is doing. She passes two more cars, and tailgates a tank truck. While she's tailgating the tank truck, her emergency flashers are on. She continues for several miles this way and makes a left turn on the loop when we get to the town, where I lose her. Still with her flashers on.

Why would someone keep their flashers on like this? For intimidation???

I hope my DU sticker caused her the maximum pissosity. :evilgrin:

2. I had an accident 3 months ago and my daughter drove me to the hospital.

We had called 911 but waiting for an ambulance would have taken longer. Trust me, I needed to get there quick, I was losing a lot of blood.

She had the flashers on and I'm grateful people got out of our way. I'm not saying it's always justified when people with their flashers on are trying to get around you, but in this one case I believe it was.

I can be driving a kid with a snakebite or a head injury to the hospital in a big panicked hurry and flip dumbasses off at the same time.
