It seems to get worse every winter for me. The cold hurts worse. The cloudy gray curtain over everything just bums me out worse every winter. Not sure what's happening here this year but it already feels like the blue-ass cold of February and it's mid December! I don't remember a December being this bitter cold, ever. I really need to start thinking about living somewhere warm. That will mean leaving my friends and family, but this is really having a negative impact on my health. I hate the cold. Shit breaks in the cold. People die in the cold. I've got metal screws in my shoulder and the cold makes them feel like little pieces of frozen gravel grinding around in there. Any other Ohioans feel this way. I've been thinking about Florida, but it's so damn republican, and extremely hot in the summer, (which ain't all that bad I guess).

2. could you work somewhere else part of the year?

Keep your home and family and friends in the summer but work somewhere else for three months?

I hate to think of you giving up friends and family -- sometimes those changes are regretted later.

Maybe you could take a year to live in Mexico. See if you like it.

4. Another Ohioan here who HATES cold. My hubby and I were thinking of moving

to Arizona until all that shit came down. Now maybe New Mexico. I love the desert, Florida and just about anywhere east of the Mississippi is just to humid for my tastes. But yeah I agree I HATE Ohio weather more and more every year. My husband tells everyone I tend to hibernate after Thanksgiving until about the end of March.Good Luck and STAY WARM!!

5. Well think of it this way...

We are only 6 days from the shortest day of the year. It begins going the other way after that. It may be a slow improvement, but at least it IS an improvment! I think short days have way of making everything seem more bleak. {{{hugs}}}
