1. Drug store? Hmm...it's a subliminal message that they need steroids.
LOTS of steroids. Might even have a .500 season if they were juiced to the gills.

8. Even with steroids the Brewers still have a better chance of making the playoffs than the Nats.

Now that we have at least two decent starters in our rotation...

I take that back. A team of little leaugers have a better chance of making the playoffs than the Nationals do.

12. Here's a mildly amusing story about a Nationals cap
Edited on Thu Dec-16-10 04:05 PM by RZM
I don't have a whole lot of hair up on top. I don't care for hats, mostly because I don't want to give the impression that I'm trying to hide my natural state or that I'm ashamed of it. But it finally dawned on me a couple years ago that hats are necessary for bald people in the summer to protect against sunburn.

I was in NYC in July and the heat and sun were atrocious. So I stopped at 'Lids' with the intention of buying a cap. Now, I don't follow sports and I have no favorite team, so I wasn't sure what to base my decision on. I decided that I didn't want to be bothered with questions like 'are you a ___ fan?' and be dragged into conversations I'd rather not have. So I thought, what's a team that's least likely to arouse emotions? I decided the Nationals were the best bet and to this day, nobody has ever asked me about my cap :)
