Have you ever done a sinus rinse and had the water come out your eye?

I did that today.

Three weeks ago I got kicked in the face by my horse which broke a bunch of bones in my face, including 2 in my sinuses. Naturally this weekend I got a killer head cold. My doc told me to do sinus rinses instead of blowing my nose (because if I blow my nose too much, I can end up with a detached retina since 2 of the other breaks are in my eye socket).

So I did the first one and the water went into my sinus and out through my eye.

It was pretty cool. Just thought I'd share. :P

um, I'm pretty hard to gross out but that did make me mentally "eewww" a little

I had a friend who had to have his face rebuilt and weird sinus stuff was par for the course.

I guess it's snot as bad as it sounds. :P

9. No but I've held my nose closed and tried to blow air out it to pressurize while scuba diving and

had tons of air come out my tear ducts.

She got a nose bleed bad enough to require a hospital visit. They packed her nose, and it started squirting out her eye. That was when they decided to cauterize things.

I have had that happen. I started doing my rinses in the shower, they could be such a mess. Make sure you are getting enough vitamin C and Zinc for your cold too. And Ouch, take care and stop pissing off your horse.
