I know people who have this condition. It's really fucking awful. If it weren't for MS, we might have had another decade or two of Beefheart stuff...my belief about his legendary "reclusiveness" of the last two decades is that, just maybe, he might not have needed to hide so much if his nerves and muscles were still working right. MS didn't just cheat him, it cheated us too. And it cheats everyone with this disease, out of decades of creativity.
