I'm really happy for you all on this day that DADT got repealed. You won the battle. Now let's win the war.

1. I have news for you.
This is a victory for straight people, too.

This is a victory for freedom.

And this was not a battle, and this is not a war. It was a step, another step, long overdue perhaps but now taken: a step further down the road to a just, free society. Little by little, we'll get there someday... if we don't kill ourselves first.

The three steps to equality

1. Who?

2. If these people have equality, chaos will ensue!

3. Friends, I need your help.

4. Yes indeed
I was so relieved to see DADT repealed!

I served, and know that some of those I served with were gay. It was common knowledge, and it did not matter IN THE LEAST. They did their job, and that was all that counted. Patients depended on them, they gave, and that was that.

I am so glad that this country can go forward in this. It's a major step.
