an early Christmas present |
|
Just got an early Christmas present, the doctor gave Annette a clean bill of health in her battle with ovarian cancer. I couldn't ask for anything better and I'm very thankful. Now she has to go back in 3 months for a recheck.

Ever since we got the news I have had my good days and bad days. Times when I would lose all hope of a good outcome and times when I was encouraged. Now that this is behind us and she is cancer free we can concentrate on the next item to be addressed and that is her breast removal surgery and reconstruction. Not sure when that will be but she faces a year of hospital and doctor visits. Thanks for all the good vibes. The people of DU are the best.

12. So happy to hear this |

A close family member has battled breast and ovarian cancer over the past year or so, and has also gotten good news recently. The relief and gratitude one feels on hearing that news is beyond words.
Best wishes on the surgery and reconstruction. Fantastic things can be done along those lines, and after all, the best news is that which you've already gotten.
Merry Christmas to you both!! :)
