Will clothes be more on sale this week for Christmas buying, or next week, to get rid of it all?
I need to buy some new jeans and a few other normal clothing type things, and wondering if I'll get a better deal now pre-Christmas or next week, post-Christmas when stores are trying to clear out for end-of-year inventory.

Or should I wait until after the new year?

1. Sales abound right now.
Used to be, no really great deals until the day after but you can find things before Christmas in this economy. Better selection now but maybe better deals next week.

3. Depends on the store. Next week is typical. They want them off the books by the 31st.

4. Normal, everyday clothing -- buy now if on sale
usually stores put winter stocks on massive clearance after Christmas. Things like Coats, boots, etc. will be 50-60% off that week. Jeans, etc typically will not be included.
