Klingon Christmas Carol brought to the stage
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/8215826/Klingon-Christmas-Carol-brought-to-the-stage.html

A theatre in Chicago is staging a production of the Charles Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol" with a twist.

The entire play is delivered in thIngan Hol, the language of the Klingon race, which was developed in 1984 by linguist Marc Okrand for Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.

The show features a miserly alien warrior named SQuja', Klingon for Scrooge, who is visited by a trio of holiday ghosts who help him regain the festive spirit so that he can save sickly Tiny Tim.

Written by Christopher O. Kidder and Sasha Walloch, the show's poster reads: "Scrooge has no honour, nor any courage. Can three ghosts help him to become the true warrior he ought to be in time to save Tiny Tim from a horrible fate? Performed in the Original Klingon with English Supertitles, and narrative analysis from The Vulcan Institute of Cultural Anthropology."

1. I guess there was a clamor for "A Christmas Carol" in Klingon?
seems an odd choice for something in Klingon

3. I could see Klingons considering avarice a form of cowardice.
I, for one, do. And my forehead is un-ridged.

2. I assume the final scene involves Scrooge weeding out the invalid Tiny Tim from the gene pool
We should write "A Republican Christmas, not Happy Holidays Damn it, Carol".
