2. No but something is wrong with it
Hubby says it's the "bendix" and I was trying to post pictures of William Bendix and an old Bendix washing machine, but messed up
Also I seemed to mess up my home page and now can't find my bookmarks
I'm hopeless, I think I'll have some wine

3. It has to do with the starter
The wine will help, much as anything.... The shop will likely install a rebuilt starter- more cost effective in the long term than replacing the "bendix" (aka starter drive) in your starter.





The "bendix" is part of the small gear visible in the pics.

4. Thanks for the pic
It's either going to a shop we've been to a couple of times or to the Buick dealer
It's a 94 Park Ave with just under 60K miles
