4. I worked three Christmas Eve flights yesterday

You just don't know how tempted I am to make the following announcement:

"Folks, I'm not going to do the 'air traffic control is tracking something from the north pole' bull$hit announcement. Sorry kids, but Santa is worse than a made up fantasy. He's a consumerism wet dream disguised as a fairy tale. The aircraft you're on is the product of generations of work by thousands of engineers and scientists. You really think some overweight couch potato in a sled is going to fly around the world while he stares at 8 reindeer rectums? Please! You want some Christmas magic? Throw some of that coin you saved on your ticket thanks to airline deregulation into the Salvation Army pot next time you're at Wal Mart. Oh, and thanks for flying with us this evening."

5. i love santa and here's the main reason why

believing in santa allows children to believe in magic
and i think that's a great thing
the world takes away so much of their ability to believe in magical things and i feel it's a very important part of childhood

and santa helps that happen.
