The teen is still asleep, so husband and I are having some coffee, stollen my SIL made, looking at the tree and listening to Anonymous 4. There is an inch or 2 of fresh snow out there! I also have the new Keith Richard bio to read.

We had our Christmas party at my son's & daughter's-in-law house last night, so we're having a relaxing Christmas day at home. Feels good. It's 44 degrees outside, but I'm determined to barbecue in a half hour on my new covered patio, which adjoins my new screened porch. It wasn't really meant to be a Christmas gift, but it turned out to be the best one I've ever had due to the contractor's schedule. I've been wanting one for YEARS -- the mosquitoes down here are just too annoying in the warmer times of the year, which is usually about 3/4 of the year. :)

and another 2-3 inches last night into Christmas morning, so we had to shovel again. But not enough to be a problem - that's not a lot for here in W PA.
I like the idea of barbecuing on Christmas. Storing beer on the back porch when guests visit is about the only thing we used the deck for this time of year.
