1. LOL. Welcome to the world of discounts. |
|
At least you are not denying that you qualify and paying full price for vanity's sake.

Not really, not worth the guilt. One time my friend, who does qualify and was buying the tickets (I got lunch)just insisted that it would be fine. I felt so guilty, I never let her talk me into it again. Anyway, I agree with Curmudgeoness, take those discounts everywhere you can, you've earned them.

8. I know what you mean, mopinko. I teased my husband when he first started getting |
|
AARP mailings. Now I'm getting them.
Quick ego fix: go to a grocery store to buy alcohol & they'll ask you for your i.d.! "Bless your heart, dear! I haven't been asked that since I was a teenager!". "Oh, we have to ask that", said the young man. Burst my bubble!

What you bought was a "Señor" ticket and you should get it exchanged for a "Señorita" ticket :P

14. Don't feel bad. I don't have to ask for the senior discounts anymore. |
|
They just give them to me automatically. However, it is kind of nice getting 5% - 10% off my ticket at some restaurants.

16. where i live the senior coffee at mc donalds is 50 cents |
|
i have always prefered it to starbucks..... perhaps the tastebuds are the first to go.
so enjoy it. It won't belong before sarah palin starts maching us onto icebergs...... and with global warming that will be harder for her to do.

i don't usually buy anyone's coffee, because i work at home. but theirs is quite drinkable. especially by my standards- i need coffee that is brown and warm.
