So what is the NFL going to do if there a blizzard forecasted for the day of the Super Bowl in 2014? |

As you know, the new Meadowlands in East Rutherford NJ is the first time a Super Bowl will be held in a cold-weather city in a stadium that does not have a dome.
There is absolutely no reason why that Eagles game should have been postponed. I think they did it for fear that there would be snow all over the stadium and Eagles fans are notorious for pelting notable people with snowballs like the opposing team, the announcers for the game and even Santa Claus. What they could have done was cancel alcohol sales at the game, which would have made it safer for the drive afterwards and less likely people would be drunk and pitching snowballs.

1. I think they did that because the police didn't want people |

on the roads in the middle of a bad snowstorm. Its not hard to see--that driving conditions were horrendous and it was dangerous out..and the NFL...They SAID TODAY that if the same conditions prevailed in NY they would PUSH THE SUPERBOWL BACK A DAY. Can't figure out how people don't understand that in places like Philly DC and other EC cities outside of NE, they DO NOT have the plow coverage to keep up with snowstorms like that..but hey, 20,30, 40 car pileups (which happen during storms here) are less important than playing a damn football game.
