WTF? Magazine subscriptions cost more on Kindle than the printed version through the mail

It used to be the opposite. Digital subscriptions were always cheaper. Through Kindle it cost three times more than getting the print edition.

Edit: Most books are cheaper or free so maybe there's an offset.
