I am a great auntie again...
Dante Michael was born at 2:45 am he weighed in at 10lbs 7oz. He was 21 and 3/4 inches long. He's a cutie. Mom and baby are resting.

2. If your brother or sister is Dante's grandfather or grandmother, then you are a grand aunt.
Myself, I am a grand uncle and I have a grand niece. My sister is her grandmother. So we're all grand.

5. When "great" finally comes into play there will be a "grand" before it.
Like "great grandmother" it would be "great grandaunt". The use of great for a grand aunt or uncle is common is this country though.
