CONFESSED!!! Have you every googled an Ex? |
|
I'm not talking to the point of stalking the person but seriously, don't you ever wonder what happened to your HS sweetheart that got away or some over love long lost gone?
I was bored yesterday. I found out one is a bank VP of a local bank and the other one teaches middle school.
I would never take it beyond that.

Someone posted a site where you could look up a name & find out addresses & phone numbers, plus other info that turned out to be just so wrong, such as income, home value, wealth. I looked up my name first; I could only dream that I was so well off!
But it's fun to look them up anyway. Most of my old boyfriends still live in the same area as I, though. :)

I'm always curious about what people are doing, and not necessarily in a wistful or regretful way. I just like knowing because I'm a huge-ass snoop.

But I could never be sure the names I found were actually theirs.
So, it came to nothing.
I even tried to find the guy who made my wedding ring; no luck at all.
Oh well...
I couldn't even find me!

Apparently I am a European soccer star. I never knew. Pretty sweet, I hope I'm the smart kinda sports star who's sockin the money away and living a moderate lifestyle, because when my knees or whatnot give out, I'm gonna need that nest egg.

22. Did I just have a past full of rolling stones? |
|
I can never find anybody. Yes, I went to ten schools in twelve years, and have a couple of ex husbands, but we were all decent enough people that just couldn't stay married to one another so I'd imagine they have lives (and we were very young). Damned if I can find them, nor can I find an old friend whose letters kept me off the roof for a couple of very bad high school years. Problem with women is that we so often take a different last name.
Tips appreciated.

23. I like being an internet sleuth, |
|
just to test my skills, and satisfy my curiosity. It's fun!
If the person doesn't have a really common name try Intelius.com, which will search all 50 states at once if you don't know where they live. The search results almost always include age, which is helpful in determining if it's the person you know. It also includes spouse and grown children's names. Any of this information is from public records. Other information-DOB, Phone, Address, Avg. Income, Avg. Home Value, is available if you want to pay $1.95 - though while looking it up just now I found they are having a "sale" and charging .95 ¢.
Classmates.com lists women by their last name used at school, if they have joined, and if you join (free) you can look up any school and specify one grad year or a span of years. You can also search within Classmates to see if someone you knew is listed in these other categories-people, K-12 Schools, Colleges, Neighborhoods, Workplaces. Almost 1/2 of my class is listed.

27. If women changed their last names when they married, it is impossible to find them |
|
so I have no idea where they would be.
On the other hand, I can Google myself, and discover that I am famous in many different fields! The joys of having a common name, which can make someone equally hard to find among the many.

|
So we pretty much know exactly what is going on in each other's lives. It's fun to see what they're up to now and to know they're ok and stuff. No remorse at all (at least from my end) just like to know they're doing well and we'll even chat sometimes.

I found the ones who didn't have very common names. Now I'm FB friends with one of them, but one of them declined my request and one of them unfriended me. There are still two out there I would like to know about, you know, just out of curiosity.
