I bought some champagne to mix with some Cassis, but now I am thinking that Blackberry Brandy would make a really good Kir. Making it a stronger, more interesting flavor.

There was a period in the 80s-90s where I was in a drunk tank by 2am every New Year. I can't remember.. I may have celebrated the last two years, but this time it seems to be actually planned.
