My BIL and I had one helluva surprise today!

My BIL belongs to the Sheboygan Polar Bears, today he didn't go for a swim in Lake Michigan, he's got a cold.

But he and I are standing near the shore, laughing at the silliness.

And this small group of men walk by, one of them was wearing a black coat.

As he gets to just about arm's length from me and my BIL, I hear him talking.
I looked to see if it was the guy with the voice, it was!

Newt Gingrich!
He was in town visiting friends, and was at the Lake watching the silliness too.

I said to him some of the people I know would be mad at me for not having any rotten tomatoes, and he laughed.

Minus the politics, he seems like a decent guy.

I made the little joke about tomatoes because it was the first thing on my mind.
I mean, he's enjoying the view of all the silliness at the Lake when it's so cold and windy.
