2. Yes - unfortunately my team is Leeds
Has been since 1964 so I can't abandon them now. Things look grim though.

13. I feel your pain
Grew up in a town called Leeds so of COURSE had to make them my team as soon as I became a soccer fan (probably around 1975).

It DOES look grim at Elland Road, though. Guess I'll just have to take comfort in my Red Sox this summer.

Jeez, I should just get a Washington Generals jersey and be done with it.

7. Sorta...I catch it sometimes.
I have no idea who's playing well, or who sucks on ice. But I'll catch a game if it's on.

By the way, I tend to cheer for Tottenham, just because their nickname matches my favorite NBA team. Eh, it's a reason...:P

Man U and Arsenal are the glory hunter's teams. Man U fans got rumbled some time ago but Arsenal fans are even worse!

17. Man United is a working mans team, Arsenal is middle ground and Leeds
is the upper crust team, so give me Arsenal everytime.

18. What on earth are you talking about?
No way on earth are Man U a working class team. Even Roy Keane has berated their fans for being a bunch of prawn sandwich eating ponces. Man City are the proper team from Manchester.

Arsenal and Chelsea are both rich man's teams and the rest of us prefer to support something a bit more local. Hence I support Wednesday as I'm Sheffield born and bred.

20. sorry, when I was a kid in England in the 70's Man United was considered
a working mans team, but things may have changed since then, dont keep track anymore. bty, do the Wycombe Wanderers still exist?

22. Oh yes
Wycome Wanderers are currently struggling at the bottom of Divion 2. The last Sheffield Wednesday match I saw on Sky was against them actually, in a pub in the sticks of Essex where I got some very funny looks every time Wednesday scored.

I actually quite like Wycombe Wanderers belive it or not.

21. Oh come on
Anyone who watched Arsenal through the George Graham years can't be called a glory hunter, more like a masochist... :) Although at the moment they are bloody orgasmic, and I'm loving every minute of it!

14. Nah, not enough SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY for my liking
Anyone got any thoughts on the whole Ken Bates thing as have I've got kinda mixed feelings on that one.

All I will say is that I hope that somebody, anybody stuffs Arsenal.

26. Captain Birdseye returns?
Bates has the support of the Owls Trust, doesn't he? Surely he would be better than what Wednesday have at the moment. But, if they can't even give him an accurate account of their finances, then surely he won't go through with a takeover bid.

The plight of Sheffield Wednesday never ceases to amaze me. It feels like only last week that they got into two cup finals and had Chris Waddle weaving his magic up the wing.

27. I follow Crystal Palace -- they haven't been in the premiership since 1998
We all have our cross to bear.

The team nearly went under financially a few years ago. And they've pretty much been stuck in the middle of the Division One table for a long time.

Nevertheless, go Eagles!
