1. Form them into patties and saute them in a little olive oil
Yummy!

Put some onion or garlic salt on them if you like.

2. You can use them to top shepherd's pie
Basically it's beef stew topped by mashed potatoes and baked a little to crust up the taters.

10. This recipe from Cooks.com is so good, I make sure
that I have leftovers whenever I mash the suckers:

3 c. left over mashed potatoes
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. chives
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. shredded Swiss or cheddar cheese
4 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled

Mix all ingredients together, except cheese and bacon and place in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle cheese and bacon on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

If you use low-fat sour cream and cheese, it's not quite as heart-attack provoking........................ enjoy!

11. throw them out
or feed them to a dog.

Sorry, I love potatos but hate them mashed. One time while eating out I order potato pancakes and was disgusted to get fried mashed potatos. YUCK

16. I recommend not making mashed potatoes in the first place
Hash browns are good. Baked potatoes are excellent. But mashed potatoes are just blah. No matter what you do to them, they're blah.

20. knishes
mix the mashies with fried onions, butter and a little milk to keep them moist. Form into patties then wrap in several layers of filo dough. Brush with melted butter. Bake in the oven until brown- Heaven on a plate!

Also you can use this mix to fill won-ton skins. Pan fry with onions

21. Mashed potatos
You can make potato soup or potato pancakes. for soup just thin a little with milk and add some sauted onions. a little bacon is good too. Use just enough milk or light cream too get it to the consistency you like
for pancakes just mix in a beaten egg and shape into pancakes. dust lightly with flour and fry until golden brown turning just once. :9
