3. Isn't it ridiculous?
Don't tell me there's not enough room in the schedule. Oregon's and Auburn's last games were more than a month ago and they're playing next week for the "national championship." That's enough time to play a 16 team tournament down to the final two teams. A playoff is not complicated. The FCS does it. Div-II, Div-III and the NAIA manage it. High schools do it. The NFL and the CFL do it. Heck, even the NFL Europe managed to have a playoff. Football at every level except Div-I manages to determine their champion with a playoff.

7. Money has ruined the FBS game
There are so many factors in deciding how to play the post season, and unfortunately game play isn't one of them. Imagine if the NCAA basketball tournament was 1 game? Imagine the outrage at the stupidity!

It just blows my mind that university presidents can be THAT stupid.

6. Great game!
FRISCO, Texas (AP)—Bo Levi Mitchell led three straight late touchdown drives, the finale coming with 2:47 left, leading Eastern Washington a 20-19 victory over Delaware and its first FCS championship.

The Eagles (13-2) trailed 19-0 and had gained only 92 yards midway through the third quarter Saturday night. Facing the defense that gave up the fewest points per game in the FCS, their title hopes looked shot.

But Mitchell took them on drives of 80, 89 and 69 yards. He converted a fourth-and-8 on the second of those series and needed two video replays to uphold a fourth-and-1 conversion a few plays before the winning touchdown.

Delaware (12-3)—with Vice President Joe Biden, an alum, watching five rows behind the team’s bench—had one last try, but turned the ball over on downs with 47 seconds left.
