Banana Bread is in the Oven
Yummy breakfast for the boys tomorrow.

3 over-ripe bananas
1/4 cup apple sauce
2 TBS butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 squirts of honey
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 pinch salt
1 1/2 cups flour

at 350 for 1 hour in buttered loaf pan

Hope it works - haven't done it in a while - recipe's in my head.

5. learned this trick from a cook at a nursing home I worked at....
freeze the banana's after peeling them and then after they thaw it enhances the banana flavor.

9. Also if you have over ripe bananas don't throw them out, freeze them.
Excellent not only for banana bread but great in smoothies :)
