Here is a funny story.
There is a computer browser game called earth 2025. I played it a few years ago, simple game nothing that special just a browser multiplayer game, played it a few years ago for a few weeks.

But anytime I try to open that game site the site is shown as 404 even though there are many review sites still up about the game, furthermore, when looking for games like that, I found games that were fakes of that game. Basically they were constructed to look like a game like that, but were not. After looking at the player and galaxy make up of the fakes, there were areas that were obviously built off of a template.

So there is some control, and fake sites on the internet that try to get people to think they are actually on the internet when they are not, I would guess it is some sort of fault tolerance system for social engineering, or form of isolation of internet access, or even grouping of people to try and limit communication. Also why you can't think that someone reading what you post is the effect, since that can be outside of your choice, but instead knowing that posting it has its own effect.

Interesting topic, but it shows there is segmentations or groupings being done on the internet.
