Boston - More Than A Feeling
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzcSvPeWxcg

I looked out this morning and the sun was gone
Turned on some music to start my day
I lost myself in a familiar song
I closed my eyes and I slipped away

Its more than a feeling, when I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling)
I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)
till I see marianne walk away
I see my marianne walkin away

So many people have come and gone
Their faces fade as the years go by
Yet I still recall as I wander on
As clear as the sun in the summer sky

Its more than a feeling, when I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling)
I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)
till I see marianne walk away
I see my marianne walkin away

When Im tired and thinking cold
I hide in my music, forget the day
And dream of a girl I used to know
I closed my eyes and she slipped away
She slipped awa y. she slipped away.

Its more than a feeling, when I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling)
I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)
till I see marianne walk away
I see my marianne walkin away

2. Boston's first album is on my RnR top 10.
the best song on an underrated album by an underrated band.

3. That's actually a great musical achievement, but it was so OVERPLAYED that I hate it now.
Can't even STAND to hear 10 seconds of it.
It's not BOSTONs fault.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade,
and then rub the lemonade into the eyes
of the bastard who gave you the lemons
until he agrees to hand over the fucking ORANGES
you paid him for in the first place.

5. A fave of mine. I listened to it often in college when I missed my bf/fiance because
it just made me think of him somehow. :)

6. Proving that MIT engineering nerds rock!
I read that Tom Scholz's basement tapes of Boston were so good that CBS records basically released them without doing anything to them.
