...I read something once about a Who tour of Sweden and Moon losing his mind over the number of tall blonde women.

4. The Beach Boys were one of the Who's early influences-in fact
"Tommy" was a response in part to Brian Wilson's "Pet Sounds" and "Smiley Smile", which were pretty complicated musical works... and had been influenced in turn by the Beatles' "Rubber Soul"...
