I believe in God and consider myself a follower of the teachings of Christ. I just am stunned that people will say on television that God provides an advantage to one sports team over another, earned through faith or obedience or something. Watching this tonight made me realize just how immense the culture divide in America is.
Of course UofO is a public school, and that kind of talk would be VERY condemned, no matter what the sentiments of the coach and team might be.
And I would greatly greatly doubt that most Oregon fans think God helps sports teams, for his glorification.
