Drizzling rain for the last 24 hours. Temps in the mid 40s. Just cold and damp enough to make my bones ache.

Drizzley rain, wind, cold. I moved to the high desert to get away from nine months a year rain. Wanted the snow and sunshine winter. This year has really been a bummer. Little snow, too much wet wind. For this I could have stayed in the big city and at least had something to do.

Just arrived after five or six years away. Everybody seems so nice and welcoming compared to back then.

It's been almost a week since we've seen the sun here in South Texas. I know we need the rain, but I am so tired of the dreary weather.
