1. That was a wonderful phone call!

It brought tears to my eyes. So, how is the dad now? Has anyone reported on this?

What a smart little girl!

The other reason this brings tears to my eyes is Ashley. She is my daughter's best friend here. When she was eight, she called 911 for her dad, who had suffered an aneurysm. She probably saved his life. He walks with a quad cane and has slurred speech. He was never able to go back to work. But everyone is thankful that they still have him around. Ashley is 27 now.

I don't mean to hijack your thread. Your wonderful thread just reinforces that we have to teach our children what to do in emergencies.

the funny thing about this, to me, is that her mother
has probably told her not to leave the house in her jammies.
