his team is revealed to again have been cheating, this time by having players on the sideline attempt to trip opposing players and then they lose.
Not that I was overjoyed to see the Jets win, but it's great to watch the Patriots lose.

8. It was the Jets that tripped an opponent. |

12. The Patriots tried the same thing in week 2 |

Fortunately nobody was hurt, but there is video evidence of the Patriots doing the exact same thing only it was a player who tried to trip the punt coverage player. On edit, here's a link: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2010/news/story?id=6027832

15. Also a Panthers player did the same thing |
|
It was more deliberate than the Jets because the player worked through his own team to get near the playing field to knock a gunner down.
Also Steve Tasker said that kind of thing happens all the time. He said he was tripped several times when he used sidelines as a weapon to get to the returner.

6. Wow, football is confusing. The deeper you look, the more complex |

it gets - I would never have come up with that analysis on my own. I mean, I could have come up with one of those, but realizing that there were two simultaneous processes at work just makes my brain hurt. :(
Guess that's why he's the coach...

7. Maybe not deep insight, but clever mockery of the sports analysts. |
|
Most of what they say boils down to just that, even if they use more words.

I can't help but like the guy, but if you listen to what he actually SAID.
"You know, if the Colts can't score more points, they could lose this game!"

I suppose some sports reporter asked him "Why did you lose the game?"
He can give that technically correct answer while staring at the reporter like the reporter is tracking dogdoo into the locker room.

13. Could you re-phrase that, Coach? |
|
The Jets fans didn't quite get it.
Damn, Jets and Steelers for the AFC title. Another game where you're rooting for both teams to lose. And Bears-Packers isn't much better.
