with my Pepsi cap. We've been listening to Steve Earle, John Prine, Van Morrison, Richard Thompson and getting drunk. Where can we download Del McCoury Band's version of "1952 Vincent Black Lightning".?

2. Fuck You, We're from Texas |

was the slogan of a great band from Austin called the Hickoids. I think they were done by about 1990. The played country with a punk attitude and played roots stuff long before it was cool. Very twisted folks, and drank like fish. I once saw a 90 minute set where they actually only made it through 3 songs. Most of the time the lead singer kept tripping over his skirt, chaps and cowboy boots. It wasn't a pretty evening, but perhaps the most fun I've had at a show.
They have an excellent Christmas 45, If You've Got the Eggnog, we've got the whiskey (it ain't christmas, if we ain't drunk). b/w Blue Christmas, if memory serves.

Coming off a mixture of twenty Steve Earle songs and Van Morrison songs, it was a setup. Now we're listening to Stan. eminem and dido.
