Yow! A new no glasses 3D viewing technology. Whoooeeee.
You put electronic sensors on your temples and they trigger a nerve that makes your eyelids close and open.
When you play a movie, the sensors force your eyelids to alternate opening and closing in sync with the movie
60 times per second.

Uh... is that safe?

See for your self.

1. There was some residual blinking
after he turned off the sensors. I would think that repeated use might create some problems.

7. Well, maybe you'd try it if you were French.

4. That's what they want you to believe
That's just how they will program the chip the army dentist put in my teeth. Between that and the fluoridation they will have complete control.

5. That's a joke, but "no-glasses 3D" (without the cybernetic enhancements) is real (link)
http://www.pcworld.com/article/190937/3d_imageswithout_glasses.html

It's done with the screen, not electronic devices attached to your temples. The YouTube clip is a joke.

6. So will it let someone blind in one eye see 3-D?
I'm pretty much legally blind in my right eye. No 3-d technology has yet to allow me to see 3-D. The two color 3-D crap gives me headaches.

Even if this technology let me see 3-D I doubt I would try it, though.

8. Short answer, no
3D requires binocular vision.

9. Yeah, I know it is hopeless for me
But I do wish producers of 3-D stuff would realize they need some alternative for those of us unable to see their efforts at it.
