I shaved my beard off today.

Due to my worsening medical condition I'm pretty much housebound right now, and I'm afraid I've let myself get a bit shaggy. So this morning I discovered some fresh razors and some shaving gel so I decided to clean myself up a bit. I may not be able to walk, but dammit, no reason to let my natural good looks hide behind a mass of scraggly gray old man hair!

Due to the lack of a current photo I'll simply let you gaze upon an old one. Naturally it's a bit different, but I still kept the same 'stasche and sideburns ('cause it bugs my sister, natch!). The only other difference is the size of my forehead and the length of my hair, which is now respectably middle aged short.

I'm getting scruffy myself and came close to a shave. I hit my neck and trimmed a bit. It's still winter!

4. Every once in a while I simply get tired of it.

It's a PITA to keep trimmed, and I often forget and end up looking like I've been a street person for five years. The disadvantage of a full beard is how fast it can grow when ya ain't looking!
