1. I like everything they've done, but for different reasons
I love the PG era stuff, but even once the band was down to three members they were never all that bad. Thank goodness the other two guys were able to keep Phil Collins' total syrup assault from getting too far out of hand. Tony Banks wrote a lot of good songs for them.

Steve Hackett has recorded some phenomenal stuff since he left in '76 or '77. Anyone here familiar with his solo albums?

5. Home from work, our Juliet ....
Clears her morning meal ....

She dabs her skin, with pretty smells ..

Concealing ... to appeal ....

"I ... will make my bed " .... She said: But turned to go ...

Can she be, late for her Cinema Show ???? ..

Her Cinema Show .......

Romeo locks his basement flat, and scurries up the stairs ...

With head held high, and floral tie ....

A weekend .. millionaire ...

"I ... will make my bed: ... with her tonight ... We'll fly ... " ...

Can he fail; armed with his chocolate surprise ???? ...

6. Way too goofy
I get to about 'Can you tell me where my country...' and then I get a titanic migraine. :D

Some of it sounds interesting, but the tedious 'important' lyrics, melodramatic arrangements, wall-to-wall wanking--I guess I really don't get prog. At least, that's what people tell me when I say I don't want to listen to Red or Fragile ever again.

But I find 'Back in NYC' to be the essential Genesis song, as well as the essential Gabriel vocal and lyric ....
