1. Actually the movie Hair seemed wrong when I first saw it.

Although many concepts of the Hippies were correct, that movie had entitlement in it. And against entitlement, from my perspective when I saw it back as a teenager.

Walking across the table, when I first saw that film seemed so wrong, like it was rude.

And I actually understand that is what the CEOs think about progressives. It comes from your view of how things should be. And progressives think about CEOs. Hence why people have to actually think and feel about the system models in place.

If you see that movie, it also shows where you are at when you see it. It is disrespectful of the status quo. If you watch that movie not seeing why things should improve, you see it as the hippies being disrespectful.

It is a very interesting look at how your frame of mind effects your interpretation.



Much of my lack of thinking that most of what is considered 'status' does not deserve respect, gets them upset, or thinking those thoughts are rude in that same way. Funny how that is. Once you see them just as people, no different then you, you realize much of the mystique around status is an illusion to maintain a status quo.

Most in status positions spend much time trying to make it seem like they should be there, since that attitude can get some people to accept that, even if it is not true.

I should be at the bar playing pool and having a beer. :shrug:
