I have no idea how Alan Sillitoe's book fits in with that. Is that the book's name?
--bkl Excuse me, I have to hide my shameful ignorance from the literary world now. (Yes, :))

I live in a DST-free zone.
Anyway, it's Sunday morning at 2AM if you really need to know. Spring forward, fall back, and all that happy horseshit.

I wish we never FELL BACK to standard time.
I HATE it getting dark at 6 or earlier.. Winter nights suck. Especially for non-morning-person cubicle dwellers. Never-see-saylight..

I knew a non-institutionalized adult years ago who would stay up way past his bedtime - 'till 2 a.m., twice a year - to change his clocks. He felt that doing it at any time other than the official hour would cause some personal catastrophy......oohhkayy.

22. It Used to be the Last Weekend in April |

They changed it to the FIRST weekend in April a few years back at the request of outdoor furniture and grill manufacturers. They wanted to extend the barbecue season.
Of course, I use my gas grill year-round...

I expect to see look toward the back from my choir loft perch and see bewildered people walking into church an hour late. Happens every year.
