Need another YouTube-related favor
Thank you again to everyone who clicked on my son's "Demolition Derby" video. It really knocked his socks off to see the view-count jump through the roof like that. However...

He has, like any older brother, taken to glorifying his success by taunting his younger brother, whose vids have not garnered such an outpouring of support. That's my fault--I truly should have predicted it.

So here's one of my younger son. It's just 38 seconds in length, and if you have a moment I'd really appreciate it if you had a moment to take a peek.

(comments are especially welcome, of course!)

Thanks for your indulgence in any case!

But being a younger sibling myself, and that boy of yours is adorable, I am going to watch Ball Coaster at The Children's Museum, a few extra times.

10. Questing at windmills again?
Sorry to hear the troubles with your brother.

Sad that a person would taunt a younger brother, I try to treat brothers with respect. Although have a great amount of leeway on how I could choose to treat most people. Then again, I would doubt your 'brother' made such videos for support from those that think in those types of family concepts.

11. Well, don't worry about it *too* much
They adore each other, but they're 6 and 4 years old respectively; if they weren't taunting each other, I'd worry that something was wrong.

13. Your first post refrenced this song.

Your other song referenced Dire straits, and also the toy doctrine from this episode of Twilight Zone.

Toy doctrine.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhnYxmns42g

If you watch all the twilight zone episodes, you can see the primers for most of those doctrines. Toy doctrine, Zoo doctrine, even the concept the opposites have about 'being able to do wrong' is in an episode about selling used cars and telling the truth.

There are many doctrines explained in that TV series.

I don't believe toy doctrine, although know how and where it was constructed. Episode 17 Star Trek explains it pretty good, but the problem with toy doctrine is it puts all power in the spiritual, it is promoted by the spiritual to make people seem hopeless or without power. It is also explained in the episode where Picard says, there are four lights.

The trixters doctrine from other cultures also talk about some things being child like. And the drawings of angels a few hundred years ago changed from adults to more child images.

Then you also reference this.

Time after Time :D

17. Your signature is interesting.
What limitation on a person would not allow them to see your humor. I could postulate that it would be a comparison to your actual thoughts and what you post.

For instance an inside joke in your head would make a comment more funnier to you, then it would be read as. So by posting with a half information, and half thought joke most 'could' not see, then you would be funnier then many could realize.

Since I mentioned the Twilight zone, I started thinking about a couple episodes, a person could teach a full 4 years master coarse just on that series and the thoughts around it. There is so much in so many of those episodes.

There is an episode, A couple ladies are in the sweltering heat of a disaster, then at the end, the lady was really dreaming and was in terrible cold. There are some simple examples of extremes, and overshoot in that story, or concepts of grass is always greener, but what I really find interesting about that episode is the basic story.

Almost everyone sees problems backwards. They literally see the cause of problems completely backwards. Or you could say most people think other people see everything backwards if they do not agree with them.

You can take almost any problem, and some presumed solution, and completely reverse the fix for the problem. Then think about it. Many times that really is the fix, and the only reason it was a problem a person could not figure out is they were trying to solve something when the problem was they were backwards and could not solve it while holding their world view.

So you see some problem, can't figure it out, because to see the fix, you have to change your thinking, since the backwards thinking is what causes the problem. That is also why learning other perspectives and both sides of an argument is so valuable and so difficult.

I also know that is true because people have not figure out they need to correct the beer and travel money issue due to me, and actually think that is my problem not theirs. :D They keep getting it backwards.
