DU parents: What do you think of this? |
|
I am not a parent, but I must say anyway that this is way over the top. http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,2043313,00.html

And since I am also not a parent, I'm an expert at raising children. :D

My only is 13 yrs older than my siblings kids. My brothers had all kinds of opinions and advice. Now they are bewildered. And that's okay. I have no answers for them, just enjoy watching the growth process.

I am not perfect, but I always treated my kid with respect to how I felt at her age. I chose my battles, some things I let slide and regret, but her education was always non-negotiable. I see the future for her and just want happiness.

4. I heard her on NPR last week |

I thought she was way over the top. Especially with the birthday card incident. At first I thought she was joking. I'd sure hate to be one of her kids.
