I had someone on ignore and didn't know it!

It was totally by accident. This person has done absolutely nothing ignore-worthy. My mouse just slipped. (Honest!) I thought I'd taken him or her out of there, but I just discovered him or her ingored on a thread.

Has this happened to anyone else?

3. I accidentally put someone I was arguing with on my buddy list, too.

I could just imagine him getting an e-mail in mid argument, "BurtWorm wants to be your buddy!" and him saying :wtf:

I've been using my buddy list as a collection of people I don't like. I don't ignore because I still want to follow the threads. So I guess I've been sending I wanna be your buddy signals to enemies.

I want to see all sides of an argument. If I don't like a particular poster...I will remember him / her in other threads. But, I don't wish to "ignore" them with the simple press of a button. That's too silly and juvenile.

11. I resisted for the longest time for much the same reasons

but the primary flame wars got to me and some people are just too repetetive and predictable. I looked the other day and of the 10 I had on ignore, 6 had tombstones. Guess it wasn't just me huh?
