Juneau County officials said they received a tip back in 2001 concerning the alleged abuse of a now-17-year-old girl, but their initial investigation turned up nothing.

Two weeks ago, the victim's parents, Troy and Lee Ann Miller (pictured), were arrested for alleged child abuse and charged with 15 felony counts. If convicted, they face up to 100 years in prison.

According to the criminal complaint, the Miller's are accused of allegedly shocking the victim with a dog collar and beating her. The girl was also forced to drink sewer water and had to sleep in the basement next to the family's dogs.
