4. There seems to be no vibrating hug smilie.
Let us hope that DU3 will include a hug smilie that vibrates.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding the whole idea of "vibes"?

Most people eventually have personal reasons to take an interest in human physiology. What about shark physiology? Not so much. Even sharks aren't interested in that. At least, you rarely see them at the library.

Please try not to be too nervous. Your surgery will go well and you will feel better soon .

My son had this surgery a couple of years ago. He was hurting and crabby afterward for awhile, but not too long. You will be great. Please keep us posted.

27. Best wishes! You'll do fine!
Both of my sisters have had this surgery and done well.

I'm sure the thought of surgery is very stressful and there is much anxiety. All perfectly normal. I hope you will be able to concentrate on how much better you will feel once this is over.

The best of luck with the quickest of recoveries!!!

32. Update on TA's condition...

She had an MRI today, which showed a blockage of the bile duct. This is part of the reason she was so sick over the weekend. And then there is the gall bladder issue. She will need two separate procedures, and as of the moment, her doctors plan to remove her gall bladder tomorrow. The other procedure (and I can't think of the term for it) will follow. She is resting comfortably (and who wouldn't, on a dilaudid drip) and told me to tell all of you she is grateful for your best wishes.

33. it was pretty much a piece of cake when mine got removed
and I went in through the emergency dept (the attacks were pretty damn bad, though), spent one or two days kind of out of it then saved the meds for other uses. :P I have never had another problem in terms of food and the processing thereof.

hope yours will be easy too. don't stress.

38. Late to the party, but sending good vibes for rapid, complete and comfortable healing.
I had my gall bladder removed on November 13 and had a very rapid, uneventful recovery (also lots of good vibes from the DU Loungers). Despite my initial anxiety, I can now say I was expending energy on unwarranted fears. Best to you!
