but I have found your posts amusing although I'm both new and not exactly a prolific poster.

I think it might be difficult for people to respond to amusing pictures, or at least I find it difficult to do so myself. To me there's not a lot to respond to, although I can see why the lack of response to your posts would be frustrating and disheartening. In other formats, I'm not particularly likely to respond to an amusing comment, but then again, I'm a bit antisocial.
