Poll question: favorite peanut butter delivery system? |
|
apples and celery run about even for me, it just depends on whether i want something sweet.
and peanut butter, fresh strawberries and chocolate syrup on plain old white bread is my favorite munchie ever.

4. Pickles. You forgot pickles. |
|
What is WRONG with you??? :D
About once/year, I get the urge for a peanut butter and dill pickle sandwich. And when that happens, I almost never have all three ingredients in the house at the same time. :(

8. She chose to "forget" pickles, Bunny, |

because I made her, and her sister, eat a few of those sandwiches when they were little. She has yet to forgive me.

9. Well, if you were one of those 'Asian Tiger Moms' we've been hearing about, |
|
you'd have made them finish the sandwich! And they'd have liked it, too!

I love a number of dishes that I have had with Peanut Sauce over the years. Some are very spicy with peanut butter combined with red curry paste, vinegar and soy sauce. Others with coconut milk, etc.

16. C'mon. You re-dip. You KNOW you re-dip. Admit it, you love redipping. Everyone does it. |
|
I mean, if you're cool you do it.

Really...I don't re-dip. Which is silly of me because I'm the only one in the house who eats peanut butter. My husband is English and therefore has peculiar tastes in snacks (like Branson Pickle whatever that is) and my grown son, who is a starving musician (yes, still starving), and appears at the house for sustenance pretty regularly, is seriously allergic to peanuts. So I must sneak my peanut butter addiction in between his visits. Today he arrived in the morning, right after I'd slathered me a lovely English Muffin Peanut butter treat, and even though I hid it from him, he announced he could smell it in the air. I hide the jar all the time, for heaven's sake! Having just reread this excessively long missive, I've decided you're right, Bucky. Screw it. From now on I will RE-DIP! But I'll still hide the jar.

when it sits on a Ritz!
I had a friend in college, who used to spread peanut butter on ham slices. I thought he was nuts, until I tried it! And yeah, I was stoned, but it was GREAT!
